View Full Version : Woodturners around Brisbane?

I will be visiting family (Daughter, SIL & granddaughter) in Brisbane around Easter next year and wondered whether I could connect with any active turners in the area? I tried searching the member list but could not find a way to search by location.

Anyone interested in meeting a fellow turner who currently resides in Texas? If so, PM me.

Thanks!

Plenty of turners and forumites in Bris plus most of South East Queensland (ie plus Sunshine and Gold Coasts). Easter is too far away for most to say but I'm sure we could organise a get together

Kelvin,

Turnfest is on 18th to 20th March and is only a 1 & a bit hour train ride south of Brisbane on the Gold Coast. http://www.turnfest.com.au/ I go down each year so we could possibly meet there. Unfortunately its a little different than US symposiums, no day passes and attendance by registration only.

Easter is 25th to 28th March - so early next year.

Cheers
