Has anyone tried using the blower mechanism from a standard garden blower/vac for driving a cyclone dust extractor?
The specs on these things say they blow air out at 260 kph, which is around 140 knots, which is not a bad breeze. No mention of CFM tho. They are often pretty noisy, but the cyclone will be sited in the garden shed adjacent to the toy shed, so should insulate a bit. The attraction is that these things are readily available and often a good buy on 'special'?
Any experience?
