Hi all,

I've been having fun turning little quick and easy trees lately, they work well for using up offcuts and they're so fast start to finish that they're very satisfying!

I am looking for ideas, does anyone have any similar things to share? My collection below:

I don't have any recent photos to share so can only share in the written words(not a 1000 words :U ).

I have done snow men, spinning tops and odd the little flower pots to use up the off cuts.

Yeah, I keep meaning to try some snow men. There is a high chance of disaster and frustration if I pick up a skew, so it might not go particularly well!

I have done snowmen using a roughing gouge. And when I am close to the finish cuts I turn the gouge to the wood at a 45 degrees to act like a skew. It gives me a reasonable finish then some sanding.

Just to add that the 45 degrees is not an exact number just as long as it cuts fine shavings.
