Hi all, wondering if any locals can help me. I'm looking for a supplier of Baltic Birch ply anywhere in Bris (although southside is good) for my scroll saw work.
Also other softwood ply B grade minimum. I use watercolours and clear stain so need a decent face.

Thanks very much
Sandy

Sandy,
Depending on what size and thickness you are after some of the better hooby stores may have what you want.

Try Budget Hobbies at Capalaba - Budget Hobbies > Home (http://budgethobbies.com.au/)

or Small Parts and Bearings also at Capalaba - just a bit pricey - Small Parts And Bearings (http://www.smallparts.com.au/)

Hi Rillawolf
You can get great quality Birch Plywood in many thicknesses from DMK Forest Products. Here is a link to their Birch Plywood page.
DMK Forest Products | Birch Plywood | Birch Ply Wood (http://dmkforestproducts.com.au/wisa-birch/)

They have a branch in Brisbane, Sydney and Burleigh Heads.
I've used their products, including the Birch Plywood, for over 30 years without issue. Great team of people to boot. I can highly recommend them.
Here is a link to their website.

Thanks Marwood and Pete.
Have been reluctant to contact distributors as I've always figured there'd be a large minimum order rather than just a few sheets.
Will look a little more into both and I guess an enquiry won't hurt :)

Cheers,
Sandy

DMK will sell you 1 sheet if that's all you want.
