I have a early corer I bought off Ern in Melbourne some time back. He mentioned it was a bit rattly :U some wear, some design issues. The latest one is far removed from this early one and no doubt greatly improved.
Because I can, and do have access to machine tools etc I have knocked up my version of the latest. It needs a some refining or fine tuning, but other than that its holds up well.
