Yer I really like your leather jacket ozwinner, So if you don't mind me asking what type of finish did you use, the color of your fish it looks great?

Next project I would really like to have ago at is makeing a life size Wedgetailed Eagle, I think that would look awsome made from jarrah sleepers... Anyway i keep you guys informed on how it goes "A dissarster waiting to happen probably" :) But its worth a go

Thanks mate, Glad you like it. :) Well that paticular fish has taken about 8 days,But they useally take 3 to 4 days to make, I lost my pressdrill chuck-key, and I sort of need that to drill the holes for the stands befor I can finish it. but When I do finally finish it, I will prolly give arbourtech oil and wax a go. I used to used plain vanish but people didn't really like the shiney plastic look.

I like the wave effect of the base board, makes it look like the fish is jumping out of the water.

Thanks OZ yer the stand come from the off cut of the sleeper when I cut out the fish on the band saw :p "Waste nothing!"

If anyone is interstead in buying the Marlin $300 aus ONO dimentions are 28"x12"x12". It look's really impressive on a mantel piece
