Level 6 has a fabulous display on furniture and furniture construction through the ages.
This particular item built 1570 to 1600 caught my eye.

Wonderful stuphph - and no machines for accuracy!!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

You have to admire the skills of theses people. I had a good look at Geoff Hanna's chest
in the Bungendore Gallery. The worKmanship is staggering!! I know some people love this sort of
work while others find i garish.

Whatever your view you would have to be a complete and utter Philistine not to have an appreciation
of the time, patience and skill that is put into these works.

There are so many beautiful examples of furniture through the ages, but the photos don't do them justice as they are behind glass under controlled lighting.
