I recently ordered a unit and some fish scale tips from Razortip Ind. out of Canada. After playing and some practice with the tips I’m very sure I will need some larger tips. My question is about the Nickel Chrome wire for making the tips. Besides the thickness of the wire is all Nickel Chrome wire of the same quality? The tips from Razortip seem to be 22mm gage. Thanks

:)For information sake I’ll answer my own question. After researching the subject I ordered a roll of 20 gage nickel chrome wire from “Lightning Vapes” which is an online electronic smoking supply company. I placed an order for a roll of 25 feet which cost me a mere $7.00 US. Well, the wire seems to be just what the doctor ordered. I ordered a strike plate along with a hobby plyer set off of Amazon and bought a small ball peen hammer locally. Luckily for me there are some vids uploaded to YouTube showing just how to make a series of pyrography points.
