G'day
Here's a couple of Grasstree lamps that I've just made . Both about 370mm tall . Finish is DO . Which shape do you prefer?

Both very nice Ted but pushed for an opinion I prefer the one on the left.

Well done!

I prefer the one on the right shape wise, but maybe the one on the right would have a bit more weight in it lower down, making for a more stable lamp.
Good job you told us what the timber was Ted, I would never have guessed it.

Hi ted,
I think they are both good , but do prefer the one
on the right , it has a more pleasing shape , and would be more
stable with a shade on it , well done :2tsup:

Looks like a nice finish, I thought it might be more porous than it looks?<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/d1b9422f/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

It is very porous but I use nitro cellulose sanding sealer prior to the danish oil otherwise it soaks the oil up like a sponge .
