check out the craftsmans ability, equipment and accomplishment! Dont knock someone elses accomplishment because they do it differently. they may not have access or be able to afford the same things as you.

That man is a very good turner. No to sure that there was much safety gear around in 1995 in Italy (note the note on the drawing at the beginning of the clip). But then safety gear would be the least of his problems if that log came loose, but then it didn't, so he must have known a bit about turning????

I think his skill is matched by his great courage! No doubt he has done this many times before and has learned a fare bit. I noticed that his "tool rest" has developed a great deal of character - he must have a strong heart! Must be a great feeling to use a skew like that!!!!
