This bowl/hollow form was originally turned in 1986 from an ironbark burl. It was originally finished lacquer that has had a hard life. The old finish was removed and after a few repairs with epoxy and wood chips to resemble and match the included bark, the bowl was refinished with Ubeaut's new Aussie Oil. I like that finish, it really highlighted the grain in the wood. It is 280mm diameter.
