I spoke to someone on the Holmesglen Institute of TAFE Information Line on 9564-1640 - After speaking to one of the organizers the Information Line passed the following information on to me:

Meetings of this kind are usually held in Building 5 (which is the last building on the Warrigal/Batesford campus).

The meeting has been postponed until next Sunday, October 17, 1999. The reason being that most of the responses the organizers received preferred to postpone until the 17th.

Please contact Tanya at DIY(DRY?) Skills Training on 9564-1778 for further details.

...End of Information...

I'll try to speak with Tanya and keep up with the info throughout the week and post here as soon as possible.

Yep! Tanya return my call and confirmed the location and time which is:
Sunday, October 17, 1999 at 10:30am
Holmesglen Institute of TAFE
Building 5 (on the Warrigal/Batesford campus)
Room 5111

Tanya also informed me that her company is interested in getting the users group started and NOT running it. And that the club whould have access to the facilities at Holmesglen. I assume a room to hold the meetings and 12 or 14(sorry, can't remember the exact number) of the Triton work centers. Tanya also told me she had 20 to 30 interested responses so far.

I look forward to seeing you all there.

Hi,
I am the treasurer of the Triton Owners Club Oyster Bay(inc) in Sydney. We have been going for a year now and have experienced a lot of the highs and lows in setting up a club. Droip me a line if there is anything specifically that I may be able to help you with.

Dave,
Thanks very much for volunteering the info. And my appoligies for not getting back to this topic sooner.
We had a lot of support from Triton who furnished us with a standard Triton Club startup plan and a lot of other Triton Clubs startup info.
I had alot of users group background being the President of the Australia Visual Basic Users Group for a year and the VP for 2 year prior and a member of the committee for 2 years prior to that.
We've elected a startup committee to just get the general business issues addressed and the general member support issues addressed.
A new permanant committee will be elected in a few months.

We had out Innagural Meeting on December 5th and plan on meeting again either the third Sunday in January or the third Sunday in Febuary.
