Hi guys, I see a lot of wooden utensils, cutting boards, bowls etc. and all it says its made from is "Acicia wood". Based on my research it seems there are a lot of types of acacia wood. I'm wondering where to buy some and the availability on Australia?

Yes, there are over 1200 in Australia alone, although not all producing useable wood. Tassy Blackwood is probably the most available although heaps of Sally Wattle too

Perhaps one of the easiest to get hold of is "Brown Salwood" - Acacia crassicarpa or others also known as "Brown Salwood" Acacia aulacocarpa, A. mangium, A. crassicarpa and by other common names Black wattle, hickory wattle, sally wattle (A. mangium only). Many others down your way though.
