Built this small stool to show how tight a square piece can fit in a hole machined out with a 1/4 end mill using
fillets
this shows a mortise and tenon joint using a cnc machine
a recessed corner technique and how neat it looks after it done
with no touch up with a small saw

Very nice. I tend to use this style of relief to show off the CNC joinery rather than hide it, but your corner fillets are better for a more inconspicuous look.

Depending on how thick your wood is, you can use a really small bit and ignore the radius. a 0.8mm bit works nicely for a lot of woods. The only downside is most 0.8mm bits are not very long or stiff.

I use 1/8 end mills but you have to be careful on the head speed as they are delicate and mine are 3 in long
works fine
