I dropped in on Cam on the way up the coast and we went visiting Steve who runs a small foundry back of Cessnock.
Guess what we found.

...I'm guessen camo is to the right always like to put a face to a name .I agree.

392208 Steve? & Camo?

But if that's Camo to the right, I don't think that's ClearOut to the left.

I think this is ClearOut (the one on the right).

392209 Mrs & Mr Clear Out?

And just to be fair, this grumpy looking bugger is me.

392210 Vann !!

I've met Cam before, and at 6 foot 7 inches he's a tall bloke, so even though that bandsaw looks stout don't be fooled.
Gee Steve must be a tall bloke also...

Thanks for that Matty.
Ive been off the air of late but do have some pics of more goodies from my trip.
The worry is that Steve is thinking of converting that Robinson bandsaw into a wheeling machine.:o
Did anyone else see this old Wadkin bandsaw on epay?
H.
Ps There's also a Pickles re saw at Kempsy on Mach4u.

Yeah I did , but didn't look close at it .
Nice and early . looks like the original lower guard is gone . Pity if it is .
shouldn't be to hard to re make though?

It may not be as the top original guard appears to be covered by the later square outer guard.
The bottom may be the same?

White, Stenner, Robinson and Pickles. A bit of a Who's Who of British manufacturers:)

That Pickles saw would be no later than early 30's as they became Pickles Ransome in 1931.

Have fun,
Alli:)
