What veneer is this please?

This is paper backed veneer and I bought it from a forum member (nice bloke) about four years ago who had a place in Jimboomba Qld. He makes cigar box guitars and pet urns.

If it weighs like pine, and smells like cedar with a hint of dirty ashtray... Well it looks similar to the cigar box cedar I've sawn: Cedrela odorata.

Thanks John it doesn't have the open grain that my other Spanish Cedar seems to have and is in fact quite smooth. Perhaps that is because it has the paper backing. As for smell - smoking stuffed that for me half a lifetime ago.
