This piece has not got a name but just something I have been playing with. Made from tulip wood for the leaves and The bowl I believe is ABW.

I always really enjoy you're work the way you are using colour with the natural timber on this one works very well indeed (and I usually get a smile as well).

Are the leaves from separate pieces of timber, or all from the one blank?

Each set of leaves started out as a bowl of different sizes and depth and then carved front and back, decorated and then stuck together. The bowl on top has a tenon which goes all the way through ending in a blind mortice in the bottom set of leaves.
