Chaps,

I am currently building a round table and have completed the pedestal leg. It sits flat on my shed floor and I am happy that it si straight, but I am not sure of the surface at the house it is going into.

So the question is "How can I fit some sort of ajustment to the feet just incase"?

The feet are 32mmandI was thinking of recessing a couple of "T bolts" and making up small adjusters.

you could use something like these adjustable glides from Lee Valley Adjustable Plastic Glide - Lee Valley Tools (http://www.leevalley.com/en/hardware/page.aspx?p=40040&cat=3,40993,41283)

But I think you would be better off waiting till the table is in its longer term position. Then you can think about normal furniture glides so that the table legs don't mark the floor.

Just looking in the latest Timbecon Cat,they have two types of leveling feet
Have a look online, they post stuff all over

With that kind of table, I would create 3 mm high "feet" at the end of each of the "legs" (by planing in a curve on the bottom of the "legs" starting about 75 mm from each end) and then plane those feet down to ensure the table sits nicely when it is in place. IMHO that looks better than plastic feet or wedges.

The ones I saw could be recessed into the leg so they would not be visible

:whs:

creating a "toe" at the end of each foot as suggested by Jeremy is the go. Though I'd make the "toes" taller than 3mm so if the table is sitting on carpet, the legs are mostly clear of the carpet.

There is a bit of difficulty with the feet of you table and threaded plastic feet. You need room to hide the threaded stem of any adjustable plastic feet that you attach. If you look at your washing machine or refrigerator you can see the type of feet. Here the stems would be 1/4 or 5/16 in diameter and fit into a threaded insert. The outside diameter of the threaded insert and space above it may be an issue for your design.

There is another solution. There are self stick felt type of felt pads.
This is what I would use but trim down to be as wide as the table leg.

These usually cut well with a razor blade. They also tend to be self levelling over a few mm of differences. The ones that we have here don't stick well over time to a finished surface. I would strongly suggest that you apply masking tape to the bottom of the table feet before finishing.

You will probably need a large pad on the center post also especially if the table is going onto a concrete slab floor. Moisture will come through the cement and cause the legs to warp. DAMHIKT

Looking at the legs, it's probably not too late to glue some 20mm thick strips to the outer third of each foot so that after shaping the center column is 15 to 20 mm off the floor. Either that or use something like this
