Good evening ladies and Gentlemen
Whilst at the Forest Heritage Centre, I had the opportunity to use a very large scraper to finish off the inside of a bowl. I got a superb finish and was duly impressed.
Armed with this new found knowledge, I told a mate of mine how good they were. Ironically, that day, he had been given a large blade out of tree mulcher. We sliced it up and got 4 blades of varying sizes.
A lot of grinding and shaping later, this is what we got. I have some more material and will make a couple more. The steel in the blades is very hard, quite thick and makes excellent turning tools
Sincerely
Willy
