Hi all, I'm making a coffee table out of an old Totara beam, think it has an oil stain.
Looking for info on a coating to keep the rustic, used look.
Was going to epoxy it but don't think that'll be a go, maybe just oil with wax filling the gaps.397568397567

Hand rubbed oil should keep the rustic look best i'd say. Something satin in finish would be good.

Thanks hurcorh, will be looking for some oil.
Could you reccommend something available at Bunnings?
