I had decided on a Kreg PRS1045 Router table but today I had a look at the Union One table at Beyond Tools Router Table RT-3224 by Union One – Beyond Tools (http://www.beyondtools.com/product/router-table/) and it seems like a much better option, especially with a lift.

Ive also found what I think is the same table at Timbecon although they also have a Phenolic top version https://www.timbecon.com.au/routing/router-tables-accessories/32x24in-mdf-phenolic-router-table-kit

Just wondering which would be the best option?

Cheers.

Cast Iron, no contest.

The Beyond tools is a cast iron table top with an aluminium router insert. The Timbercon unit has a MDF table top with the choice of either a phenolic or aluminium insert.
