Where is the giant that your customer wants to kill? :)

It is a nice turning exercice and perfect realization... strange though. Is it for a film?

Now if you were to actually make one out of Jarra.. then you would have a weapon worthy of Conan the barbarian :D

what a bizzare toy - are you liable if he kills anything with it ? Im pretty sure a teenager would get in trouble if he carried it around! :D

You bet! Pine has a density around 450 kg/cu and Jarrah is around 820 kg/cu, so if the club were made from Jarrah (assuming my arithmetic is correct) you would be looking at over 27 kg

When it comes to clubs, nothing beats a bit of iron bark.

Your club is too stout, needs to be a little longer, spikes are correct size though, many people make them a tad too small, they just break off when you drive into your intended intention.

Stick at it, let me know if I can offer any more advice.

G'Day Richard,

I don't know what sort of customers you have, (though seeing this little "tickler" I could make a guess), but I'd make sure I had blerry good locks on the doorshttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gif

Cheers!

I had the other half (she works in a law firm) check out if I was liable and because he is a licenced weapons dealer I am not Liable.
Cant see a teenager carring it for too long.
