I hope this is ok to ask here. I have a really nice set of delta rockwell metal spinning tools brand new in the box likely from the 60's-70's . 4 tools and a tool rest. Must be a dying art because I can't find much about it on the net. I enjoy wood turning but not interested in metal. It was from a high school wood shop clean out . If anybody can point me to someone interested that would be awesome. I am in southern Alberta Canada. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161112/4a9c21c0f51c373ee63a9e772d31490a.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161112/6c8406ce8e22ea69f543f1a2329bb607.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161112/31d24a3e791f594d41f4f0ff3050c7bf.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161112/487e0037a5032c3414af3b70c17360db.jpg

The are heaps of videos on you tube about it.
In the 3rd world the process is alive and well and most cooking wear in these countries is still made this way.
The process is still around in a mechanised form with big lathes and hydraulic tooling replacing human operators

A few years ago I found an excellent 40+ page 100 year old book on the web about the process from go to whoa.
As well as the process the book contains info on how to make the tools and have been slowly making the the tools for it.
I have made the tool rest and a couple of basic tools and my next tool is a the one that has a wheel.

Thanks for the links. I have seen a few of the videos on YouTube about it. Some amazing work that people have done. These tools are very heavy duty , like new. and I would like to see them go to somebody who could appreciate them. I can't find any for sale anywhere on the internet so I know they are a pretty rare beast. I will try to get a post about them on Aaw I guess.

How much do you want for them?
I would be interested in buying these and have relatives in Alberta you could post them to.
I can pay you now with PayPal and there is no hurry as I won't be in Canada again until next Summer.

I have another person interested in them from the forum that has contacted me already. I am checking on shipping to aus for him. If that does not work I will get back to you. Thanks.
