Have a large amount of Ekodeck offcuts available to me and was enquiring if they can be used for segmented turning.
Seems a shame to throw them away ,did not know if they could be glued p and turned on the lathe,.
Cheers
Steve

All I know is it killed a brand new dropsaw blade when cutting down a deck. I'm guessing it would be hell on tools. What sort of glue ate you planning on using? No idea what to recommend, just interested

Look like using Titebond 2 or Weldbond.

Geez mate! you are scraping the bottom of the barrel there for a turning medium. Personally I would not rate it much more than mdf or asbestos to turn. Surely there are some trees near you?

I'd be intersted to see what you turn from it. Never opposed to something a little different.

I for one don't like waste. My understanding is that this stuff does not have much colour variation. If I was to use this I would use this as a feature part of the piece.
