Old lathe help required

I have picked up a rather nice old HD lathe quite old, (like me) it was Made or sold by Morton Machines tools, at Wynuum SE Queensland Australia, the Cast head has round circle open at the botton with a W in the upper section as part of the raised Cast, it s colour which I have been told was standard, is Green, the head is half open to allow the belt to be moved along the pullies to change speed,
What I need to know is how to change the belt, and bearings as the shaft runs straight through,
So anyone know if there is a old manual around,
