Lappa 19th February 2017, 08:18 PM Great episode of Grand Designs tonight which includes heaps of steam bending. Probably worth having a iview if you missed it.
Wynterplace 19th February 2017, 08:20 PM Watching it now. The house is amazing, the guy is a brilliant craftsman.

I_wanna_Shed 19th February 2017, 09:20 PM Aussie or UK series? Thanks.
DaveVman 19th February 2017, 09:33 PM Thanks for posting that. Being 1 hour behind most of the country finally had an advantage for once. We got to see the tail end of that program.

MandJ 20th February 2017, 09:32 AM Loved the location, stunning visual looking across that glorious timber deck to the house, the beautiful simplicity of the hand crafted furniture and as others have said, one of the best.
Treecycle 20th February 2017, 09:58 AM Can anyone tell me which season and episode it was? Seems like a lot of them are on You Tube.
Lappa 20th February 2017, 10:33 AM Grand Designs, Series 16, Episode 3 according to Google.
Not to be confused with Season 16, episode 3 which is about a build on the Isle of Wight
Treecycle 20th February 2017, 12:46 PM Is this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q10khb7QF-U) the one?
Lappa 20th February 2017, 01:26 PM Yep. That's it.
wheelinround 20th February 2017, 02:13 PM Brilliant craftsmanship first time I've seen Kevin blown away for some time. Taking a lost trade and making it commercially viable as this couple has done.
However house design is wanting especially if they have a baby girl it needed another bed room or two.
Wynterplace 20th February 2017, 03:21 PM All I could think was, "Man, spiders would love to live in those stairs".
rustynail 20th February 2017, 04:36 PM Ah yes. Who the hell would want to be an accountant or an IT nerd?
