I rang Bowens yesterday to see if they've decided on their prices yet.

They have not, but are discussing it now.

I always go by Bunnings the day before and write down all their prices before going to the WWW show.

I told Mitre10 last year that their show prices were still higher than Bunnings.
They said Mitre10 just couldn't beat Bunnings bulk buying prices.

If I get the chance I'll post Bunnings prices here just before the show.
And if Bowens WWW show prices are better I'll post here on Friday evening.

G'day Barry

FYI, just before I bought all my Triton gear I called Mitre 10 in Lavington who were going to be Triton's representation at the Canberra WWW Show to see what kind of prices they would have.

Because I had been shopping around I gave them all the best prices I had gotten and he told me they could probably match them at the show, but very unlikly they could beat them despite the amount of things I got.

It wasn't worth the wait of an extra week just to have the price matched at the show so I bought all my gear at a local Magnet Mart who matched all the best prices from everywhere else.

BTW, I bought the Workcentre 2000, Triton Circular Saw, Router Stand, Router Table, Biscuit Joiner, Dust collection units (the bin and the bag) plus the usual glue and biscuits etc, so I wasn't messing around http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/smile.gif

I also took my list to Bunnings to see if they would better it by 10% but they wouldn't, they would only match the price that Magnet Mart gave me, so I went back to Magnet Mart where this old fella had spent a lot of time with me.
