Angle cut, tenon cut, snug fit, just got to clean up, polish, and epoxy in the handle. I'm not sure of whether to take down to 30mm width or not. Thoughts?

Sorry guys, not sure what happened to pics but here they are again.
also, does anyone have any suggestions as to whether to leave as is or change to the last pic?
make that the first pic with the curved cutting area?
