Hi, I have not been on the forum for a long time and recently came back to see what has been happening. I had an email conversation with Keith who builds the awesome train models. I emailed him because I wanted him to see a model of one of the trains Keith built a model of. I watched Keith's build and was amazed by his detail and work. He suggested I might post here about what I am currently working on. Some here may be interested.

So, I have thought for some time I would like to attempt to build a wooden geared clock. In my search for info I came across this site and saw these little "robot" plans. Looked like great fun so I ordered the plans:

Woodworking Plans by Clayton Boyer (http://www.lisaboyer.com/Claytonsite/robotlaboratory.htm)

There is also a model of the Peny-Darren locomotive that Keith built the model of. I just had to have the plans for it also. I will build when I finish the three robots. I completed the first bot the other day. This is the "CB Walking Bot". It was a very fun build. Runs on a little 12v dc motor powered by a 9v battery.

Here is a short video of mine's first steps. It has since learned to go to the frig, get me a beer and bring it to me!!
