Offering 20 pieces of Australian Blackwood (Acacia Melanoxylon)...

3 x 700mm x 65mm x 65mm
1 x 700mm x 165mm x 50mm
1 x 700mm x 130mm x 45mm
3 x 700mm x 125mm x 30mm
1 x 600mm x 145mm x 50mm
1 x 600mm x 150mm x 45mm
2 x 550mm x 125mm x 30mm
1 x 550mm x 105mm x 30mm
1 x 550mm x 125mm x 45mm
4 x 500mm x 125mm x 30mm
1 x 500mm x 120mm x 40mm
1 x 500mm x 110mm x 40mm

Require further seasoning...wax end sealed...log however was dead for a number of years!
This lot is outstanding in terms of figure and all boards are quarter sawn too.
Putting this up for auction too with the start price of $400...minimum bids of $25
A reserve price has been set also
Will dispatch anywhere in OZ using 'ECO' freight or can be picked up from Woodford

Wow, that is stunning figure. Is this Queensland Blackwood? I've only ever seen figure that good in Tasmanian Blackwood - though I have had some lovely Queensland stuff from you in the past. it isn't normally this intense.

Yeah, this is more evidence for my theory that gnarly old sunshine coast paddock blackwood is pretty similar to tassie stuff! I think sometimes (not always) the tassie timbers benefit a lot from their name...

The species is Melanoxylon...same as Tassie Blackwood
Australian Blackwood is my preferred name for reference
The Sunshine Coast provenance certainly produces quality Blackwood although growing form is often compromised in terms of size and shape
Pretty stuff all the same...MM:)
