Look good. Sure is nice to have an out-of-the-way place for the things you use once a year.
I wan't smart enough to make shelves wide like yours for boxes.
I had to write notes to myself inside the upstairs kitchen cupboards as reminders of where I put things.

1. I learned by experience to put a lip along the back edge of shelves against a wall. Stuff always rolls off.
2. There can never be enough shelves. I made 6 dozen braced angle brackets from 1x2 and ripped some 1/2" plywood.

The first thing that I built, mostly 2x6, was an 8' x 32" bench. My knees can't take grovelling on the floor.
Have you got another place for a work bench?

Where are you? I'm at 53N, west of Jasper National Park in the mountains.

Nice build!
Your lucky you have some floor space for shelves. My workshop stores camping gear, paint etc. etc and the metal shelves were taking up valuable floor space. So I built shelves high up on the end walls and uploaded all the "stuff" that's gets used once in a blue moon.
Its good to get some floor space back !

Thanks Robson Valley. I measured the tote bins and that influenced the shelf width. I agree about not enough shelf space. I started with the two shelving units but have room for more if needed. I love Jasper NP. It's been awhile but last time there I slept in a tent in July and nearly froze to death. We had to get up at 4am and jump in the our rental car to warm up. I'm out in Nova Scotia so we packed a little too light on camping gear for the flight.

That's a great use of other wise wasted space.
