I have an old Teknatool 122 lathe - the oone with two pipes as a bed.

Does any forumite have this, or the TL1500 model?? I need an exploded diagram of the whole kit and kaboodle .
I took it apart for storage about three years ago and am having trouble remembering exactly how it goes back together.:B

I have three identical plates with hex holes. One holds the toolpost, one holds the taistock. Can't see where the third one goes!

Second problem is the quill is stuck in the tailstock, obviously because of rust. Can I heat this to release the quill??

Many thanks in advance, artme.

I think I have a manual for the 1500 machine. You can have it if I find it. I'll be back to you soon.

Many thanks Bevan. I managed to get the tailstock sorted. A good soaking overnight with WD40 and a few
judicious wacks with a hammer buffered by a piece of wood fixed that.

Headstock back in place BUT I thought it could be set at 45 to the bed. Don't seem to be able to do that.

I am going to see if I can arrange a cam lock mechanism for the banjo as I don't like the present set up.

Be interesting to see wht your manual says.

Cheers,artme.
