Following the disaster with the chuck wobble, recovery is possible. Unfortunately I cut the tenon too narrow for the jaws and due to time constraints as 5 jobs on the go, I didnt have time to change to a smaller set of jaws so I carried on between centres. little work desk vase for the Doris.

Very Nice!! There is a song about never giving up that applies very much to turning. I have had a few redesigns that started with a OH S---!!!

Generally my words are a touch stronger, as every piece of wood I wreck is money in the bin. But the lessons are costing me less and less through redesign. And making the job smaller.
