I was asked to make a knitting yarn bowl. Had not heard of them before but a bit of googling resolved that.
I think the spiral cut-out is too big, but that is the norm apparently. Bowl is approx 220mm wide at the top and 90mm high.
Camphor Laurel, wall thickness about 6mm at the top and tapers down to about 10mm at the bottom inside. I did that as I was concerned the spiral would be too weak if left at the 6mm thickness all through. I tried a different bottom finish style. It seems ok.
