Anyone know where I could buy some Boxwood ( for threaded inserts ) and Tagua nuts in AU ? Thanks Phil.

How big do you need the boxwood. I have lots of small off cuts.

Hi Brendan, Thanks, I was hopeing to buy a chunk in the round, say 300mmX60 or 70mm. Not quite an offcut:).
Not for any particular job,just thought I'd make some threaded boxes with inserts and HDPE and box are about all I've been able to chase a good thread on.
My Box was a nubbin of old firmer chisel handle that someone had flogged with a hammer.428205 Phil

Hi phil , not too sure boxwood Is readily available in australia,
I have had some success with wenge and ebony for threads
I have also just tried some corian which is showing some good
signs of threading as well !:;
