G'Day PPl,
I might have the opportunity to acquire some gear. I'm not that familiar with the costs of Triton equipment.
What should the following cost?
Triton work bench with 235mm Makita Saw, 1 Black and Decker Router, and 15 new router bits, an extension table and Roller support, with all accessories in very good condition. Hardly used.

I might end up with a half decent work area.

Thanks,
CounT4

Count.. what model triton are we talking about here? model 3? or a series 2000?

and the router? small one or a heavy duty one?

the router bit should cost anywhere from $20 to $45

at a guess I would be looking at somewhere around $600 or so..

the best thing to do is to search the trading post for similar items.

Kev,
I was toying with buying this gear which is on eBay.
It started out quite cheap and didn't move much; it's now going through the roof.
Not worth the effort for me, though someone in Steak and Kidney might consider it.

Use all of the above address; the 2 lines.

Bugger, the wrap around unwraped.
The 2 lines became 1 line.

Criky, I forgot how nude a naked triton looks!

I have built up a dust collection "hood" that fits under my table base and I now connect to my dust extractor.
Certainly becomes much more of a pleasure to use especially when cutting the god awful MDF.

The height winder made this much more practical, especially with a SCMS to do 99.999% of the crosscut work.

Cheers Ray

Count, Just had a gander at the ebay site..

I would not pay anymore than the reserve price.. as a matter of fact, for the series 3 center, even this could be too much.

the saw looks oky doky, but the router could be a little on the small side.

The bits look like the standard "beginners" set, which even though they do the job, dont hold the cutting edge too well.

G'Day,
It's gone out of my league.
Especially not being in Steak and Kindey.
Thank you, fellow Power Station Worker,
(Even though we are not yet on line yet)
