Plum bowl

Acquired a 67 year old plum tree, some rot coming through. First time I'd seen plum grain.
No finish on the timber, might oil it.

Looks like it has some nice grain, would like to see another photo after you have applied the finish.

Was thinking of using canola oil, any other suggestions? Preferably not too dark.

I like the way this grain patten is looking on this piece.
