Ballarat: Huon Pine bench top

Posting for a mate - has located what appears to be a very large huon pine bench top and now wishes to sell.

He is asking $1200, size is 2.4m long, 60cm wide and width is still to be measured, an estimate can be taken from the pictures I guess.

could be wrong but it doesnt look like Huon to me (could be wrong) just saying,looks more like an oak of some sort

Hard to tell from the picture.
Smell test would be the way to go, but of course you have to know the smell.
