A search has revealed nothing!

I know that there are different speed ranges between different MC type lathes but can anyone tell me generally what are the settings. I think mine is 500 - to - 2000 but don't know the intermediate speeds.
The Chinglish manual tells me nothing and I have been guessing the speeds to date as there is no indicators other than slow & fast.

I'm not sure you'll get an accurate answer unless you put some sort of tacho on your lathe.

The variable speed mechanism has got a few bits which can be easily moved to change the limits of the speed range, and this would obviously affect all the intermediate speeds.

You could take the cover off your lathe, and turn the motor shaft by hand, and note how many revs of the output shaft you get, and multiply that by the speed on the plate on the motor.

Cheers,
Andrew

The MC900 range is (1-10) 500, 620, 760, 900, 1050, 1210, 1400, 1590, 1790, 2000.

I suppose the MC1100 is pretty much the same.
