Hi all,

well it might not be entirely new but it is the first time I have seen it :U

Does anyone know who is selling the system demonstrated by Rolly in the below video?

I cant say who sells them but it's an improved updated version of the old one I have. Be aware that you need 1.5 hp or more to make it comfortable to use. My lathe is only 1 hp so I have to go slow and easy to prevent it bogging down. Still gets the job done buts takes longer.

Please disregard the above. My bowl saver is a McNaughton. May explain the difference.

Our forum sponsor, Carrolls, sells Rolly's tools. If they do not have them in stock, they can probably get them in for you.

Not cheap, or that easy to learn how to use, but once mastered it is the coring system that is the most versatile.

If you have a good supply of green timber it will pay for itself in time. Better to get a couple of extra blanks from a good piece of wood than half a bin of shavings. And once you are set up and in coring mode it doesn't take much extra time over hollowing out a large bowl.

Definitely best with at least 1.5HP if you go with the larger coring set.
