I'd love to come, but 9 June is the weekend of Q-Turn, so a lot of woodturners will be in Boonah that weekend. Perhaps defer it to the next weekend or something later?

I'm at Mt Crosby so deception bay is a bit far. If someone wants to do something more centrally located or south side I might be interested...

Interested, but more notice would have been good. Would prefer something a bit further down the track.
I'm on the SE bayside.

I would be interested. I'm inner North Side. I could come next weekend but it does sound like the consensus is to plan it with more notice. Let us know either way.

Is there a theme or anything like that?

Does anyone have any requests to play with any power tools or jigs? If so I'll see if it's something I have that I could bring along.

Ok, if there is another day/date is preferrable let me know.
People are more than welcome to bring tools or jigs.
I have a modest workshop with all the usual suspects.
Cabinet saw, spiral jointer, spiral thicknesser, router table, bandsaw and some handtools.
Cheers Tony

See how things happen. I’ve had an offer for o couple of mates to come and slog out some work at my place this weekend. Not a chance of me knocking that back so I I’ll be passing on this weekend.

Next time.
cheers

We will provide everything, just bring your good selves, if there is something either a tool or a jig that you think others can learn or improve their woodworking from bring that.
Cheers Tony.

That's fine Enfield, when mates offer to help you out, you can't knock that back, I'll have one in a few weeks,

Thanks for organising this Tony. It was good to meet you and Pete. We seemed to have plenty to chat about.
It looks like Petes shed would be an education.
Thanks Tony for the steel wool. I'll try to come back to this tread and post a link to those videos where I show how I set up the mini cyclone if you are interested.
At the next GTG I'd love to have a go on your radial arm saw coz I've never used one before.

. I have my mother in law here for a couple of weeks.

The best reason to spend some time in the shed. Actually, if it was my MIL, I'd only go back inside for toilet breaks.

I really do have a soft spot for my mother in law. It's out in the garden behind the garage.
