Some hollow forms.

Here's the follow up of a post I did a few months ago. Numbers 1&2 are both Queensland Maple, 200mm/8inches high and 180mm/7inches in diameter with a 4 to 6mm/3/16 to 1/4 inch thickness, hollowed through a 32mm/ 1 1/4 inch hole. Number 1 was the first, but I changed the shape for number 2.
Number 3 is Queensland Red Cedar 320mm/12 1/2 inches high and 140mm/5 1/2 inches in diameter, and same wall thickness.
Really happy with the progress with the Trent Bosch hollowing tools. Just got to get my favourite sawmiller to get me some maple stumps.

Three well turned pieces. The first and second have a great shape to them the third not so much but that is my personal preference. Finish looks great as well

The finish on each of the HF's is excellent, what did you use? The first photo (the tall slim one) really caught my eye, it looks stunning. Personal taste, but I feel that the bottom on the third one is a bit fat, although you may have turned it that way for a specific reason (or you may like fat bottoms).

If my memory serves me correctly, you made a articulating arm for hollowing a little while back. Looks like you are getting some good results with it. Are you happy with it now you have used it for a while?

Tony, I use Wattyl Stylwood precat at 90% gloss, it is very forgiving, even spray when it's raining and have not had it bloom.
Yes I did make that middle one a bit fat on the bottom, but I learnt from that and as I formed the RH one up I unscrewed the chuck with it still captured and sat it on the bedway to visualise the shape a few times and kept cutting.
As for the hollowing rig, it's even better now with the height adjuster I made for fine tuning. I have not been totally happy with some ripples inside from the 8mm/ 5/16 inch cutters, so I bought a new scraper tool to iron them out. It's sitting at Nubsnstubs (Jerry in Tucson's) workshop at present, so hopefully he is giving it a test run before I pick it up.

Pete, l had been lucky to visit a lot of woodturners that I have met on this and other forums in the US and I got to try most of the commercial hollowers, but I decided to make my own, a bit of a mix of them all. The Trent Bosch 3/4 inch set of 3 TC tipped tools are in my opinion the best tools and I bought them from his site and had them delivered to Paul39 and I have now bought his bent scraper as well. I also bought his heavy duty laser, it's magic.

Nice work Crocy. Trent does a pretty good demo as well. Communicates well and covers off on all the points of interest.
