Does anyone have a pdf manual for the Record Power CL3/AS lathe? I note some previous requests which were answered but the links no longer work, and the members concerned are shown as "off line".
Picture of the lathe attached. I am trying to sell it for a sick friend, but better that I have a manual to go with it. The owner doesn't know where he has stored it.
Grateful for any assistance.
PS does anyone know what the AS stands for?

The manuals are available at Record UK and also on a number of free manual sites.

I have no idea of the AS designation though.

Thanks lappa, but this one doesn't look like that, and I can't find it in the list of manuals on that site.

Looks like it’s a late model Record Coronet, going by the picture. The earlier models had the name Coronet cast into the RH adjustable head.

The designation was changed on later lathes to the CL name

Thanks GEEBEAN, but I think those models are more modern than my friend's machine, because they are the models they are selling now. Although I suspect they have much in common. I'll send you my email address by private message if that will help you.

Hello chrism3 Try recordpower.com.au - woodworking machines - woodturning - CL3 LATHE - downloads ( Manual). If you use those steps you should find it volvo

This is the newer green version of your machine only the colour is different(Not the latest grey one) This set of instructions covers the cl3 and cl4 so parts of it will not apply

Thanks to everyone for their help. It seems that the basics of this machine did not change during various name and colour changes. The manuals I have now seen are in almost all respects the same.

For the Record, I have been in touch with Record UK and they think "AS" stands for Australian Spec.
