Just need to finish separating a piece ripped to 3 mm. Trimmed it off with my marking knife, just a simple little thing...hardly need to think about it...slip!...ouch.

Must get it back in the bandaid now with some cream on it. SWMBO tells me that current medical practice is to keep skin moist while it heals to minimise scarring.

Zenwood mate,

Just spit on it and let the saliva do its job. Put on a bandaid and carry on.

I didn't know we could post pictures of injuries acquired in the shed.

With my present skill level my injuries have been far more impressive than my woodwork creations. Whacked my finger into my router a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I must have only just touched it but it produced an impressive amount of blood. Freaked the wife out.

Next time I'll take a photo and post it here for everyone to have a laugh.

Well...it was only a flesh wound.

I gave myself a left-handed uppercut to the jaw, now I feel alot better.

No wimp, me! Tomorrow, I'm going to apply some MFKL, then rip it off in one pull.;):D

bad luck zenwood.

If your going to use a bandaid, make sure its a wiggles bandaid. Or it won't work. Just ask my kids.

Got my workmates laughing once, when I turned up to work with half a dozern wiggles and 'high five' bandaids all over my hands, after a particularly clumbsy weekend.

Band aids are good when doing fine work, ie. for keeping the "claret" contained.

Rough work, well, just adding a bit of yourself to the end result :D

Third day, and it still hurts like buggery. Bit swollen. Probably low-level infection. I'll spare you the pics.

A good way to put any knicks and cuts back together quick is to use a little super glue

Quote fro super glue origins

Superglue in Surgery

Superglue has also proved to be a life-saver. During the Vietnam War soldiers were issued with tubes to seal stomach wounds in the battlefield.

A redefined formulation is now used to seal post-operative wounds worldwide.
