Just recently bought a power hacksaw and want to confirm on the cut direction.
It has an arrow on the wheel behind the saw blade. When the wheel spins in the direction of the arrow, it cuts on the forward stroke which is towards the movable jaw.
That seems counterintuitive.
Should they all be cutting towards the fixed jaw?
We needed to put it to work so we used it the way it's set up and whilst cutting some 150 angle had a bit of flex.
