My old trolly jack I inherited from my dear father seems to be leaking from the plunger.
Besides that, it works fine....expecially when I top up the oil.......
I thought I'd puill it out to change the seal on the plunger...It doesn't have one.....No wonder it leaks.
I thought I'd machine 2 sections on the plunger to fit 2 o-rings, making sure, they are not raised above the edge during normal operation.
Anyone else done the same thing? Did it work ok?
I don't use it much so its hard to justify a new one. I will if this fails to fix it though.
