So I did the biting of the bullet and bought an SC4 lathe from Axminster in the UK, should be here in a few days. It's not what I want, but what I really really want Isn't easy to find. Like them zigazig ahs, never seen one.
And of course I want to put a DRO on the little thing. Now I know these little lathes aren't to be sniffed at, they can do some serious stuff, but they're cramped, not ideally suited to having attachments thrown at them and everything becomes a silly compromise.
I've asked a bunch of DRO people here in the UK but I'm just being pointed at the Chinese vernier solutions, I'd really rather not.
Again, any suggestions from you kind people?
