I'm going to buy a crushgrind mill drill and thought I'd check for a pre-loved one before buying new. I posted in the Wanted section. Thanks.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of the mill drill - I've made a dozen or so crushgrind mills using Forstner bits, but am thinking of getting the mill drill.

I did invest in the Sorby tool for cutting the groove - well worthwhile!

Hi,

I can thoroughly recommend the mill drill. Makes drilling the mill bottoms a quick and error free process.

I also like the fact that it can be resharpened and adjusted.

Bye for now,
Paul.

CWS were out of stock so bought from Queensland Woodwork Supplies. It arrived today and I ran it through some River Oak blanks.

After sharpening and changing the cutting angles it works well. Now I have to make a heap of grinders to pay for it.495142
