I've got 4 sets of these blocks with the only identifying marks being CU350, CU400, CU500 & CU650. They have mirror polished hexagonal sections of various sizes in the centre section ... hence the different numbers. My theory is some sort of hammer mill maybe.DSCN1252.jpg (https://metalworkforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=394256&d=1633416637)DSCN1251.jpg (https://metalworkforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=394257&d=1633416666)

The other piece looks like it goes in a lathe tool post and has a universal type joint with a collet for holding the shafts which also screw together. This one I'm really lost on.DSCN1253.jpg (https://metalworkforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=394258&d=1633416958)DSCN1254.jpg (https://metalworkforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=394259&d=1633416984)
