I am looking for any recommendations for a private woodworking machine technician in Melbourne.

Ah, a noun and not a verb.

Saw doctor (verb): one who doctors (fixes) saw blades
Saw doctor (noun): one who is a saw/machine doctor, ie. technician.

I assume.

Pete,

Are you after someone who re sharpens hand saws, or someone for circle saws or Bandsaws.?
You may get better results with a little more information.

Cheers Matt.

FFS, I am after a mechanic specialising in adjusting & repairing wood working equipment, located in Greater Melbourne. They like to call themselves 'Technicians'.

Elan. Saw doctor is a noun, nothing else. If you use the word 'one' it implies a noun. No verbs were injured in this exchange

Yes, one who sharpens saws. Having that as the title is going to create confusion for those who don't read the first post asking for a technician, someone not traditionally called a saw doctor.
